After you watch the video and read the study notes below, answer these questions here on the Fellowship Project Blog Posting link on this page:
1. Are you taking advantage of the benefits you have and the access you have to the Father by asking in the name of Jesus?
2. What is holding you back in your mind from experiencing no limitations? Is it a poverty mentality? Do you have a religious spirit where you think that you're being humble, but you're not engaging with the Father through that access that Jesus gave you?
3. The Spirit is willing at all times to show you things that you do not know. Are you willing to go to this next step where God can show you profound things that you do not know of that are coming?
4. Tell the Lord what you want. I know that you're going to first ask for wisdom, but then if there's a specific thing, I want you to write it down.
5. Pray for each other
You're Not Asking for Enough
"God can’t make someone do something that they don't want to do, and He can't expect someone to do something if they don't know the plan. The problem is we're not asking."
~ Dr. Kevin L. Zadai

Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.
—Jeremiah 33:3 NLT
DISCUSSION:
Jeremiah is announcing a prophetic utterance from the Lord, revealing the access that we have to the Father. We can ask Him anything and He is willing to respond and answer us. I remember, one of the questions that the Lord asked me was “If I would come to you, and say, you can have anything you want, just ask me, and there were no limitations, what would you ask for?” I didn't answer Him because I thought maybe this is a trick, and maybe it was a set-up. In this particular circumstance, I replied and asked Him for wisdom. I knew that was the best way out of a situation.
“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
—Luke 11:9
I remember the Spirit of God prompting me at times. I remember telling Kathi, that I had a dream and I feel like it's pertinent. In the dream, I was with a minister whom I just met recently, but when I had the dream I hadn't met him yet. In the dream, I was in his car and he was taking me around for Christmas and we were shopping, and he pulled up and was going to let me out, and the Lord told me that I can have anything I wanted. He said, “What do you want for Christmas?” I remember that we were in a store and there was this nice wreath and it had all this fruit on it. It was a nice big Christmas wreath. So, to be humble, I said, “Well, I like that wreath.” It was like 200 and some dollars. The minister and I were in his car, and the car was what I wanted. It was my favorite car, and he just had his hand on the steering wheel and he said, “You should have asked for this car because the Lord told me to give you my car,” and the Spirit of the Lord said to me, out loud, He said, “You're not asking enough,” and then I woke up.
That's how this came to pass. I want to straighten out some things within your thinking because I feel like mine was straightened out by the Lord. We began by correcting ourselves about what humility was. Humility is not pushing God away when He wants to do something for you. What we often say is, “Well, if God wants to heal me, then He will,” or we say, “If God wants me to have this job, I will.” Getting the job is a competitive thing where you show up and have confidence. They're looking for that. If you don't, then it's going to be hard for you to get the job, even if it was His perfect will. It's the same thing with everything else. We say, “Well if God wants me to pay my bills, I'll pay them. If not, oh well.” That's not right, because the creditors are looking at you, and if you're a Christian and you're not paying your bills, then it just gives us a bad name? We can do this with every sector, like with relationships. God wants a relationship, but if you don't work at it, then it doesn't just happen. It has to do with communication oftentimes. You can do this in every area of your life, and you’ll see that humility is not saying, “If God wants it, He'll do it,” because things don’t just happen.
ENGAGING WITH THE FATHER
God says, “Ask of me, and I'm going to tell you things that you don't know...” Things are coming; there are extraordinary, awesome, wonderful things that you do not know of, that are coming. I found that with God we have to distinguish between what we think is humility and what is essentially us putting it off on God. If you would read the book of James, you’d see that God wants us to engage with Him.
When I met Jesus and I was there in the throne room, I realized that we have been given access to the throne room and the Holy of Holies, through the blood of Jesus. I realized that we need to engage with God on the level of a King and a Priest. It says in scripture that through Jesus Christ, we've become Kings and Priests of the Most High God (Revelation 5:10). We are children.
If you’ve ever noticed children will come in even if they're not invited. They assume that they have access to you because they are your children and they don't distinguish. They don't think it's humility or anything else. They don't struggle. They want access. If they want something, they'll ask you. They'll put themselves in a place where they get attention, even if it's negative attention, they're going to get attention if they want it. You're either going to give them attention or they're going to get it. They're going to demand it in some way. The thing that’s happened to us is we’re not asking enough.
What are some things you can take ownership of that are keeping you from engaging with the Father?
ACCESSING THE FATHER
God loves you, and He cares about what He's called you to do, but He can't make someone do something that they don't want to do. He also can't expect you to do something if you don't know the plan. The problem is we're not asking. It says, “Ask of me, and I'm going to show you things that you know, not of.” One of the things that I saw was a disconnect. The Father was silent. He was up there sitting on the throne. I was talking to Jesus, and I had to go through Jesus to get to the Father. He was telling me that I couldn't look at His face. I said, “I want to talk to Him.”
He was just sitting there and I thought, I don't even know the Father God. Jesus was three or four feet away from me, and His throne was right there, and it was only three or four feet, from the Father God's throne. It seemed like everything was bigger up there.
It seemed like I was small and Jesus was small, but the Father was really big, and His throne was really big. A lot is going on. There are many angels and a lot of stuff happening and there was a roar of voices. There were different creatures, but they weren't scary. I've never seen anything like them ever. I realized that there's a disconnection with understanding who the Father is, and it shouldn't be that way, but He stays back if you've noticed. There's not a whole lot known about the Father except through the Word of God and Jesus and the Apostle Paul. I had access to the Father because Jesus was there. The Father God is right here, He's saying, “Ask of me, and I'm going to show you things that you do not know of.”
How will you begin allowing yourself to access God?
ASKING THE FATHER IN JESUS’ NAME
I thought we needed to ask the Father for more revelation. What began happening was when we didn't look at things such as our deficit in our lives, and we didn't look at that as being humble, we started to have access to God. You just need permission to access the Father. You just need permission to ask Him to reveal Himself to you. I'm not talking about Jesus. I'm not talking about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has come to help us to reveal the Father to us, but He doesn't speak on His own. Jesus didn't speak on His own, but now we have total access to God. Jesus said, “If you ask in my name, my Father will give you whatever you ask.” What I saw in Heaven was that we can ask the Father in Jesus' name. I was with Jesus and I could talk to the Father through Him. One day we're going to see God as He is, but when I was in Heaven I wasn't allowed to look at His face. I could tell He was a young man, even though everybody thinks He's this ancient of days man with a big gray beard, but He was a young man. I could tell even though I didn't see His face, by everything that I saw. I saw everything but His face.
Jesus was bold enough to ask me, “If I could have anything, what would I ask for.” I told Him wisdom because then I would know how to ask. What I found out was in Heaven there are no limitations. It's so hard for people here to grasp that there is so much more. It’s grabbing as much as you can while you're here in this life. It’s grabbing as much as you can of understanding, relationships, and purpose while adding value to other people's lives in any way you can by investing in them. If you can put all your energy into this and side with God, then it drives out the enemy.
Jesus said in the garden that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. He was asking His disciples to pray with Him for an hour. I don't think they discerned that this was their last hour with Him. He warned them that it was going to happen. He told Him a couple of days prior that He was going to be handed over and suffer at the hand of men and that He would be crucified and on the third day, He would rise from the dead. He told that to them. He told them exactly how He would die. He told them if anyone wants any part of me, they have to pick up their cross. He mentioned the cross, but He hadn't died on the cross yet. He mentioned that we were all going to have to carry a cross to participate in what He was doing. That’s where we are right now. The Spirit wants to show us the things that are coming that we do not know. Jeremiah is in Heaven right now and he wants us to grasp this. He encountered the Holy Spirit speaking through him these very words in Jeremiah 33:3. And would Jesus wants us to grasp that we can ask for anything, and He'll give it to us. He’s saying, “Seek and you will find. Knock and the door shall be open to you.” There is no other option except to get what we ask for, to find what we were seeking. If we’re trying to get through a door, it will open for us. There are no other options, but those three things. That's the assurance that we have.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank You so much that You hear us, and that through the name of Jesus and by the blood we have access to You. Father, we just ask for wisdom right now. Father, just give us the wisdom that comes down from heaven above, where there's no shifting of shadows, no shadow turning. Father, I thank You that You're going to give us the wisdom to ask for the right things and that we're going to have the faith, the supernatural faith right now that's being imparted to all the warriors all over the world right now. I thank You, Lord, that the power of the Holy Spirit is resting on them right now. Father, I thank You that everyone is going to be healed, everyone is not going to submit anymore to that religious spirit, but we're going to ask as children knowing that we are going to receive from our Father in the name of Jesus, Amen.
